Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals UK & Ireland is seeking a mechanical technician to join our construction division. You will repair, maintain and service plant equipment, performing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs to meet high standards and customer expectations.

The role requires a full UK driving license and Level 2 NVQ in plant maintenance or equivalent, with a focus on safe, compliant operation and continuous improvement within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience within the plant hire or equipment industry.
• Team player with a flexible approach.
• Full UK driving license is essential.
• Minimum Level 2 NVQ in plant maintenance or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Equipment repair and pre hire inspections.
• Maintenance of equipment.
• Electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic repairs.
• Service and inspection of all equipment.
• Ensuring all equipment is maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, functionality and compliance.
