Job summary

PATH Recruitment is seeking a Mobile Plant Technician to cover sites across London. The role involves servicing, diagnostics and electrical repairs on cars, vans, LCVs and construction plant equipment, at customer sites and within our client's network.

You will work Monday to Friday, with an excellent salary up to £41,000 plus overtime, a company van, and a learning and development programme including manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Experience as Car/Van/Mobile Plant Technician or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Maintenance and diagnostic repair on light commercial vehicles and plant equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, diagnostics and electrical maintenance repairs on cars, vans/LCVs and construction plant equipment.
• Follow manufacturer procedures and maintain high attention to detail.
• Complete compliance paperwork accurately to company standards.
• Provide first-class customer service at customer sites.

The Mobile Plant Technician Role:

• Attending customer site breakdowns across London, carrying out servicing, diagnostic and electrical maintenance repairs to the highest possible standard on cars and vans / light commercial vehicles (LCVs) / and construction plant equipment.
• Adhere to manufacturer procedures and processes and demonstrate high attention to detail at all time.
• You will be required to complete all compliance paperwork accurately and work to the company's standards.
• Deliver first-class customer service to customers

To be successful as an Mobile Plant Technician:

You will have previous experience working as a Car Technician, Van Technician, Mobile Plant Technician, Vehicle Mechanic, Fleet Technician, Fleet Mechanic, Van Mechanic, Van Technician, Service Technician, Qualified Technician, Senior Technician, LCV Technician, LCV Mechanic, Workshop Engineer, Automotive Technician, Automotive Engineer, Workshop Technician, Mobile Plant Engineer, Plant Engineer, Plant Fitter, Field Service Engineer, Mobile Engineer, Construction Plant Engineer or related role.You will ideally hold an NVQ, City and Guilds or IMI Qualification or equivalent in LCV Vehicle repair and maintenance/vehicle maintenance/ electrical maintenance/ plant maintenance/ construction plant and repair or similar.You must hold a full UK driving licence
