Job summary

Biffa is hiring a Multi Skilled/Mobile Plant Operator in the United Kingdom. The role covers safe operation and maintenance of site vehicles, waste handling and basic housekeeping, with a schedule Monday to Friday plus overtime on weekends. Pays £16.77 per hour with the potential for overtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in waste management, warehousing or construction.
• Mobile plant operation and maintenance knowledge.
• Willingness to work weekend overtime if required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment checks and maintain service logs.
• Operate site vehicles safely and adhere to health and safety parameters.
• Control waste unloading at the point of transfer.
• Keep the working area clean inside and outside the cab.
• Report accidents and unsuitable waste to the shift leader.
• Complete daily reports with mileage and servicing details.
