Responsibilities include pre-start checks, routine maintenance, reporting defects, and liaising with weighbridge staff and management on waste streams and material placement. Candidates should have relevant plant experience and a proactive safety mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy plant on operational sites.
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures and site rules.
• Competence in completing plant checks and reporting defects.
• Good communication and teamwork within a site crew.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile plant machinery safely and efficiently to meet operational requirements.
• Assist the Supervisor in delivering safe and effective site operations.
• Complete daily pre-start checks on mobile and static plant and report any defects.
• Maintain plant and equipment, including cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
• Assist with contractor maintenance activities when required.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across the site.
