Job summary

BAM Site Solutions are recruiting a Mobile Plant Mechanic based out of our Depot in Kilsyth. You will work in a busy workshop, servicing and repairing plant and equipment, while supporting safety, training and site projects.

The role requires a clean driving licence, NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in plant maintenance, and relevant safety qualifications. Frequent on-site attendance and a proactive approach are essential. Attractive salary and benefits package offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds in Plant maintenance and repair required
• Diplomas in Plant Maintenance (Construction) and lifting operations preferred
• CSCS card with plant maintenance and repair indicated
• CITB safety qualifications and EngTech/ TIMMM accruals advantageous

Responsibilities

• Carry out maintenance and repair of a variety of plant and equipment
• Perform workplace risk assessments and inspections
• Carry out schedule servicing in accordance with manufacturers specifications
• Maintain vehicle and equipment to Site Solutions standards
• Respond to on-site mechanical issues at short notice
• Record all work in company electronic system
• Mentor apprentices/operators on safe operation and maintenance
