NEOS Engineering Recruitment are partnered with a leading organisation within the Heavy Plant industry who are looking to appoint a Plant Inspector in Colchester. The role offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to develop into a highly skilled inspector with full training provided.

You will inspect a wide range of heavy plant and lifting equipment, produce detailed reports and work closely with customers to ensure safety, compliance and continued operability.

The Opportunity

NEOS Engineering Recruitment are partnered with a leading organisation within the Heavy Plant industry who are looking to appoint a Plant Inspector to join their growing team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Heavy Plant Engineer looking to get off the tools, or an existing Inspector looking to join a business that genuinely invests in its people. Full training will be provided, including LOLER, LEEA and other recognised inspection qualifications, allowing you to develop into a highly skilled specialist within the industry.

The Role

As a Plant Inspector, you'll be responsible for inspecting a wide range of heavy plant and lifting equipment, ensuring machinery meets the highest standards of safety and compliance.

You’ll produce detailed inspection reports, identify defects and work closely with customers to ensure equipment remains safe, compliant and operational.

The Candidate

• Experience working on Heavy Plant, Construction Equipment or similar machinery
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
• Excellent attention to detail
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• A full UK Driving Licence
• Inspection experience isn't essential — if you're an experienced engineer looking for a new challenge, full training will be provided.
