Job summary
SER (Staffing) Ltd in Inverness is seeking a Mobile Plant Fitter for a hybrid role, splitting time between workshop and on-road service. Servicing and repairing plant machinery such as excavators, loaders and telehandlers, you will diagnose faults and travel with a fully equipped van to client sites.

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance, HGV Maintenance, or Agricultural Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven experience working on plant machinery, HGVs, or agricultural equipment.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Full UK driving license.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Maintain, service, and repair plant machinery including excavators, loaders and telehandlers.
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical and hydraulic issues.
- Perform routine inspections to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide on-site support to clients to minimise downtime.
- Keep accurate records of work and parts used.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with workshop team for smooth operations.
