SER Limited in Inverness is seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter for a hybrid role combining workshop and on-road service. You will service and repair a wide range of plant machinery, including excavators, loaders, and telehandlers, to keep customers’ equipment running smoothly.

The role offers an hourly rate of £18-£19, a fully equipped van with door-to-door pay and personal use, overtime pay at 1.5x and double time, and generous holiday, pension, and healthcare benefits.

Formación

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance, HGV Maintenance, or Agricultural Engineering (or equivalent).
• Proven experience working on plant machinery, HGVs, or agricultural equipment.
• Full UK driving license.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct maintenance, servicing, and repairs on plant machinery including excavators, loaders, and telehandlers.
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure machinery operates at optimal performance.
• Provide on-site support to clients, ensuring minimal downtime for their equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work completed and parts used.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times.
• Collaborate with workshop team for seamless operations.
