PlantLink Recruitment Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established, family-run business in Bristol for a Mobile Plant Fitter. The role involves diagnostics, servicing and repairs across construction plant equipment, with on-site breakdowns and planned maintenance.

You will work across brands such as JCB, Caterpillar and Kubota, enjoy flexible hours, a company van, and a bonus scheme, with a supported environment and opportunities for progression.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, or Heavy Plant Mechanic.
• Experience working on construction plant equipment.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Full UK Driving Licence required.
• NVQ or relevant engineering qualifications would be an advantage but are not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out diagnostics, fault finding, servicing, and repairs on a wide range of construction plant equipment.
• Working on medium to heavy plant machinery across various manufacturers including JCB, Caterpillar, Kubota, and others.
• Attending breakdowns and completing on-site repairs efficiently and safely.
• Completing planned maintenance and inspections to minimise downtime.
• Maintaining high standards of workmanship and health & safety compliance.
