Position: Mobile Plant Fitter
Location: Leicester (Midlands sites)
Sector: Civils / Construction
Salary: Up to GBP50,000 (depending on skillset and experience)
Additional: Company van, Fuel Card, Tools
Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Are you a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter with a passion for working in the civils sector?

We have an exciting opportunity with our client, a well-established civil engineering contractor, to join their dynamic team and be a key player in keeping heavy plant machinery operating at peak performance.

Responsibilities:

* Diagnose, repair, and maintain heavy plant machinery (excavators, loaders, dozers, etc.)
* Conduct regular servicing and preventative maintenance.
* Respond to breakdowns swiftly across multiple sites within the civils sector.
* Ensure all equipment meets health, safety, and environmental standards.
* Work independently while liaising with site managers and engineers.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Mobile Plant Fitter or similar role in the construction or civils industry.
* Strong diagnostic skills with a deep understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
* Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule.
* Valid driver's licence (essential).
* NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent (desirable).
