Job summary

Northern Security is seeking a vigilant security operative to deliver onsite protection across client premises in Workington, Whitehaven, and surrounding areas. You will patrol, lock/unlock, respond to alarms, and provide a professional security presence with a company vehicle supplied.

Applicants must be over 25, hold a valid UK driving licence for ≥2 years and an SIA licence. The role offers full-time hours, day/night/weekend shifts, and overtime opportunities.

Qualifications

• SIA licence is essential.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 2 years.
• Provide 5 year checkable history to complete BS7858 vetting.

Job description

Responsibilities

• Providing an onsite professional security presence
• Providing a deterrent to criminal activity, theft and antisocial behaviour
• Provide protection for customers, property and staff
• Internal and external site patrols
• Open up and lock ups on site
• Attending to alarm activations

You will be working within Workington, Whitehaven and the surrounding areas, where you will be visiting our clients premises to complete various tasks such as Locks, unlocks, patrols or responding to alarms. A company vehicle is provided for carrying out your duties. (Candidates must be over the age of 25, and a full UK driving licence held for a minimum 2 years and an SIA licence is essential for this role).

Hourly rate: £14.00 per hours (Working average hours of 40 per week) Overtime available Full Time Contract (Days, nights & weekends)
