Job summary

Vigilant Security is seeking driven individuals to join our team for a full-time, permanent role. The successful candidate will perform mobile patrols, alarm responses and site inspections, while maintaining logs and ensuring site security in line with client instructions.

The role includes full training if needed, with a 1900hrs–0700hrs (12hrs) 4 on 4 off shift pattern and a strong emphasis on safety, professional presentation, and reliable time management.

Qualifications

• Full Clean driving licence (held for a minimum of 5 years).
• Professional, flexible, enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated team player.
• Experience with Mobile and key Holding duties preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
• Consistently well presented in line with company/client standards.
• Reliable and self-motivated with excellent time-management skill.
• Clear, concise, and confident communication and administration skills.
• IT literacy.
• Customer Care Awareness.

Responsibilities

• Mobile Patrols, Lock ups and unlocks in line with client assignment instructions.
• Respond to alarm activations on request from the communications centre.
• Undertake site visit inspections in accordance with management instructions.
• Proficient use of relevant communications equipment.
• Ensure all H&S policies are adhered to.
• Assist staff and visitors to sites.
• Ensure that no un-authorised persons are permitted in prohibited areas.
• Maintain an accurate record of any incidents that occur.
• Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required.
• Ensure the company vehicle is always road worthy (Daily Vehicle Checks).
• Respond to all alarm activations in a timely manner.
• Accurately report all findings from alarm activations.
• Complete a full detailed handover at the end of each shift.
• Complete schedules to record site visits.
• Complete all required key registers and seal logs.
• Inform line managers of any changes to details/job specifics/issues at site.

Job description

The Role:

Vigilant Security are looking for driven individuals to join our existing team on a full-time, permanent contract. This position may suit someone who has previous experience within the Security, Hospitality, Customer Service Industry, or anyone with the right attitude and personality looking to start a new career path.

The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team and be able to carry out specific instructions set by the client.

SIA training will be provided to individuals that don't currently hold a license.

The rate of pay is £13.45.

Key Tasks /Experience Required:

Mobile Patrols, Lock ups and unlocks in line with client assignment instructions.

To undertake response to alarm activations on request from the communications centre.

Undertake site visit inspections in accordance with management instructions.
