Job summary

Securitas UK is hiring a Mobile Patrol Officer in Bristol. You will deliver mobile security services, patrols, alarm responses and keep sites safe. 48-hour shifts with full training; day one access to development opportunities and benefits.

We hire for attitude and potential, offering training to obtain an SIA licence where needed. No two days are the same, covering sites across the Bristol area and beyond as required.

Qualifications

• Full UK Driving Licence and eligibility to work in the UK.
• Ability to work days, nights and weekends.
• Prior mobile security or similar experience preferred but not essential.
• SIA licence training provided if needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver mobile security services including patrols, alarm responses and site protection across Bristol.
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all times.
• Follow site instructions, company procedures and escalation processes.
• Complete accurate reporting and documentation using company systems.
• Conduct vehicle, equipment and key management checks.
• Drive safely and maintain the security of company vehicles and assets.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and operational requirements.
• Be flexible to support different sites and operational needs.

What you'll be doing:

• Deliver mobile security services, including patrols, alarm responses, lock/unlock duties, and property inspections.
• Maintain a professional, customer-focused approach at all times.
• Follow site instructions, company procedures, and escalation processes.
• Complete accurate reporting and documentation using company systems.
• Conduct vehicle, equipment, and key management checks.
• Drive safely and maintain the security of company vehicles and assets.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and operational requirements.
• Be flexible to support different sites and operational needs when required.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred but not essential.
• Minimum of one year of mobile security experience preferred but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Valid SIA (Not Essential as we can provide the training to obtain this)

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good verbal and communication skills.

• Have a five-year checkable employment history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment, self-employment, or full and part-time education during that period.
