Job summary

Securitas in Milton Keynes is hiring a Mobile Patrol Officer to protect people, property and assets across multiple sites. You’ll perform mobile patrols, alarm responses, lock/unlock services and property inspections while delivering outstanding customer service.

This role requires a valid SIA licence and a valid manual driving licence. You’ll work 12-hour shifts, 4 on/4 off nights, 42 hours/week, with training and progression opportunities from day one.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA licence is required.
• A valid manual driving licence is required.
• Security experience is desirable but not essential.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Strong communication skills in English—both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of mobile security services including locks, unlocks, internal and external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections and escort services.
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of each shift ensuring the security of the company vehicle and equipment.
• Follow site assignment instructions and conduct dynamic risk assessments upon arrival at client sites.
• Escalate incidents and report RTAs in line with company policy.
• Adhere to correct key management processes when handling keys.
• Secure company assets and ensure dashcams are functional throughout the shift.

No two days are the same, as you'll carry out a variety of security duties including mobile patrols, alarm responses, lock and unlock services, vacant property inspections and escort activities, while delivering exceptional customer service at every interaction

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Deliver a range of mobile security services including locks, unlocks, internal and external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections and escort services
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of each shift ensuring the security of the company vehicle and equipment
• Follow site assignment instructions and conduct dynamic risk assessments upon arrival at client sites
• Follow proper escalation processes for incidents, break-ins, health and safety issues and road traffic accidents
• Escalate incidents, risks, breakdown and RTAs to the team leader, reporting RTAs in line with company policy
• Adhere to correct key management processes when handling keys
• Secure company assets, including PDAs, and ensure dashcams are fully functional and used throughout the shift
