Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Mobile Patrol Officer in Milton Keynes. You’ll perform mobile patrols, alarm responses and site unlocks across multiple client sites, delivering strong customer service while ensuring security and safety.

The role operates on 42 hours per week with 12-hour shifts, including nights. Training and development opportunities are highlighted, along with employee discounts and wellbeing benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Security experience desirable but not required.
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year history.
• Punctual and reliable.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of mobile security services including patrols and alarm responses.
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at shift start/end.
• Follow site instructions and conduct dynamic risk assessments.
• Escalate incidents and risks promptly to the team leader.
• Secure company assets and maintain key processes.
• Provide excellent customer service while on client sites.

As a Mobile Patrol Officer, you will play a vital role in protecting our clients' people, property and assets across multiple sites within your designated area. No two days are the same, as you'll carry out a variety of security duties including mobile patrols, alarm responses, lock and unlock services, vacant property inspections and escort activities, while delivering exceptional customer service at every interaction

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Deliver a range of mobile security services including locks, unlocks, internal and external patrols, alarm responses, vacant property inspections and escort services
• Complete vehicle handovers and checks at the beginning and end of each shift ensuring the security of the company vehicle and equipment
• Follow site assignment instructions and conduct dynamic risk assessments upon arrival at client sites
• Follow proper escalation processesfor incidents, break-ins, health and safety issues and road traffic accidents
• Escalate incidents, risks, breakdown and RTAs to the team leader, reporting RTAs in line with company policy
• Adhere to correct key management processes when handling keys
• Secure company assets, including PDAs, and ensure dashcams are fully functional and used throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Security experience is desirable but not essential
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history
