Job summary

Horizon Parking Ltd is seeking a reliable Mobile Patrol Officer to operate in Andover and surrounding areas. The role involves patrolling car parks, monitoring cleanliness, and enforcing parking rules in line with UK compliance.

A valid UK driving licence, strong customer service, and ability to read number plates in daylight are essential. You will work 40 hours across five days, including weekends, with benefits such as a company car, annual bonus, pension, and sick pay.

Responsibilities

• Travel to and from allocated sites within visit cycles provided, and/or as required.
• Patrol and monitor car parks, ensuring the car park is tidy and clean at all times.
• Maintain a professional image when dealing with third parties.
• Issue Parking Charge Notices as required, in line with signage.
• Check if parking equipment is in working order.
• Restock machines with tickets and undertake minor repairs and maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and replenishment of consumables within kiosks.
• Improve accessibility for all site users.
• Manage abuse of parking facilities.
• Provide excellent customer services and assist customers as required.
• Follow company health and safety policies and safe working practices.
• Carry out any other tasks as and when required.

What are we looking for?

• A reliable and trustworthy Mobile Patrol Officer, to work in Andover & its surrounding areas
• 40 hours per week, spread out over any 5 days of the week (will include some weekend working)
• A qualified driver who must be able to meet the Highway Code eyesight test requirements. Candidates must be able to read a vehicle number plate from a distance of 20 metres (65 feet) in good daylight, as stipulated by UK legislation. This is to ensure that all our drivers can perform their duties safely and in compliance with legal standards.

• Carry out any other tasks and instructions as and when required.
