Job summary

Guarding UK Ltd. is seeking a experienced Night Mobile Patrol Driver to protect client premises in London through patrols, lock-ups, alarm response and site checks.

You will work independently across a portfolio of London sites, maintaining professional security presence and liaising with the 24/7 Control Room. Responsibilities include scheduled mobile patrols, lock-ups, alarm responses, incident reporting and accurate records using mobile apps.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA licence.
• Full UK driving licence meeting company and insurance requirements.
• At least 2 years’ experience in a similar mobile security role.
• At least 2 years’ driving experience.
• Good written and verbal English, including report-writing skills.
• Confidence using smartphones, apps and other mobile technology.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• The ability to deal professionally with challenging situations.
• A methodical, organised approach and excellent time management.
• A full 5-year checkable work history.

Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled mobile patrols and site integrity checks.
• Carrying out lock-ups, unlocks and key-holding duties.
• Responding promptly to alarms and security incidents.
• Identifying and reporting security risks, damage or unusual activity.
• Completing spot checks and welfare checks with GUK colleagues.
• Maintaining accurate patrol, incident and site records using mobile applications.
• Liaising with our 24/7 Control Room throughout your shift.
• Providing a clear handover at the end of each shift.
• Driving safely and responsibly throughout night-time operations.

Working Hours: 2 shifts available 18:00-06:00 and 19:00-07:00 (average 42 hours per week)

We are seeking an experienced and professional Night Mobile Patrol Driver to protect our clients’ premises through scheduled patrols, lock-ups, alarm response and site integrity checks across London.

Our Mobile Patrol division operates across the UK, combining highly trained mobile officers, smart technology and the support of our 24/7 Control Room to provide responsive, real-time protection.

The Role

As a Night Mobile Patrol Driver, you’ll work independently across a portfolio of London sites, providing a visible, reliable and professional security presence.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting scheduled mobile patrols and site integrity checks.

Carrying out lock-ups, unlocks and key-holding duties.

Responding promptly to alarms and security incidents.

Identifying and reporting security risks, damage or unusual activity.

Completing spot checks and welfare checks with GUK colleagues.

Maintaining accurate patrol, incident and site records using mobile applications.

Liaising with our 24/7 Control Room throughout your shift.

About You

You’ll be dependable, professional and confident working independently. You’ll have good judgement, strong time-management skills and the ability to respond calmly and professionally to incidents.

You will need:

A valid SIA licence.

At least 2 years’ driving experience.
