Base pay range

Are you an experienced SMART Repair technician/painter looking for a new challenge in and around Portsmouth or nearby areas? If so, you could be the person we're seeking!

Automotive Repair Systems Ltd is one of the UK's largest independent Mobile SMART Repair companies, with a fleet of over 140 mobile technicians. Due to our expansion, we are recruiting additional Mobile Paint SMART Repair Technicians.

The successful technician will provide Mobile SMART Paint Repair services to our Insurance and Trade customers within Portsmouth, offering excellent earning potential. Candidates should have a valid UK driving license, be physically fit, well-presented, friendly, customer-focused, and committed to high standards.

Work is scheduled Monday to Friday.

Additional requirements include:

• A self-motivated individual capable of working independently
• Preferably 3-4 years' paint experience (ATA/IMI/QAA certification preferred, working to PAS 125 standards)
• Good knowledge of fillers
• Ability to paint up to 2 vertical panels and blend
• Great attention to detail
• Experience in customer-facing roles
• Proficiency in Maths and English
• Willingness to travel daily
• Flexibility with working hours
• Good time management skills

Applicants will need to complete a paint assessment and interview. Further training and product transitioning will be provided based on experience.
