Job summary

Leightons Opticians is seeking a Mobile Optometrist to deliver expert eye care across a flexible network of stores. You will perform comprehensive sight tests, offer emergency services and myopia management, and travel between locations with a patient‑centred approach.

The role offers a competitive salary up to £72,000 FTE depending on experience, plus a bonus scheme, funded accreditations (IP, glaucoma and more), Learning Academy, life cover, indemnity insurance, health plan, staff discounts

Qualifications

• Fully GOC registered Optometrist required.
• Ability to work across multiple locations in the Leightons network.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive sight tests and eye exams.
• Provide emergency eye care, paediatric care, and myopia management.
• Tailor recommendations to patient needs and preferences.
• Maintain high professional standards and comply with GOC.
• Work across Leightons stores and support recruitment/training of staff.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve goals and monitor performance.
• Ensure clinical equipment is maintained and in good working order.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work in various Leightons stores

• Ensure all clinical equipment is maintained and in good working order
