Job summary

Network Group Holdings is seeking a full or part-time Optometrist to work in Bedford and surrounding areas, visiting patients in their own homes from Monday to Friday with no weekends required. The role offers great flexibility to fit around family commitments.

You will travel to diverse locations, performing comprehensive eye examinations and dispensing, supported by modern mobile devices and a senior optometrist network at the Head Office for second opinions.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a sympathetic approach and empathy.
• Ability to perform full clinical tests.
• Experience with home visits or community care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their own homes to carry out a full clinical test and dispense.
• Travel to various locations from your postal address and see approximately 6–7 patients per day.
• Use the latest mobile technology, including portable digital fundus cameras, mobile slit lamp, I-care tonometer, and a digital records system.
• Benefit from senior optometrist support at the Head Office for second opinions when needed.
