Job summary

OutsideClinic, the UK's leading provider of optical care at home, is recruiting an optometrist to join our domiciliary team across North East London and Essex.

You will visit patients in their homes, with 1-hour appointments, and have the flexibility to work 4 or 5 days per week, with no weekends.

We supply full equipment, CPD support, a generous bonus, and a fully expensed company car as part of a competitive package.

Qualifications

• Patient home-visit optometry experience (implied by domiciliary service)
• Ability to work flexibly 4–5 days per week with no weekends
• Commitment to CPD and professional development
• Proficient use of modern ophthalmic equipment (fundus camera, slit lamp) when necessary

Responsibilities

• Visit patients in their homes, with long appointments (approximately 1 hour) to deliver gold-standard care
• Make autonomous clinical decisions with support from senior optometrist team within minutes
• Utilize portable equipment and digital records system to minimize paperwork
• Engage in CPD and professional development opportunities provided by the company
