Job summary

Vision Express in the Crewe area is seeking a Mobile Optometrist to cover a cluster of stores across Crewe and nearby locations. You’ll travel between sites, working 38.75 hours per week, with a permanent contract and a balanced mix of clinical and patient care.

You’ll have a company car, a £1,000 mobile allowance, and access to professional development, private medical cover, life assurance and a competitive pension.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified, GOC registered optometrist.
• Able to deliver clear diagnoses and build patient confidence.
• Comfortable working across a cluster of stores and collaborating with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide optometry services across Crewe area and surrounding stores.
• Travel between stores within ~60 minutes of Crewe Vernon Tesco.
• Support store teams with clinical expertise and patient care.

The role

• Salary: Up to £65,000 (subject to your experience and location)
• Company car and £1,000 mobile allowance
• Location: Crewe Area, up to 1 hour commute
• Working hours: 38.75 hours - 5 days per week (If you need more flexibility, talk to us about what works best for you!)

You'll mainly support our stores across Crewe Area, including Crewe Tesco, Hanley, Hanley Tesco, Longton, and Altrincham.

Your base store will be Crewe Vernon Tesco, and most of your travel will be within around 60 minutes of here. We'll always aim to plan your rota to make the most of your time and minimise unnecessary travel wherever possible.
