Vision Express is seeking a Mobile Optometrist to work across Swansea city and county, with a base at Swansea Centre. The role offers flexible hours starting at 23.25 per week, travel within ~60 minutes, and a supportive clinical team.

It provides leading equipment, professional development, and varied patient cases to broaden clinical experience. You must be a GOC-registered optometrist, delivering clear diagnoses while collaborating with store teams and contributing to commercial success.

Responsibilities

• Support stores across Swansea city and county, delivering optometric care.
• Travel within around 60 minutes of base; rota planned to minimise travel.
• Base store at Swansea Centre with travel to nearby clinics as needed.

The role

• Salary: Up to £73,000 (subject to your experience and location)
• Company car and £1,000 mobile allowance
• Location: City & Country of Swansea
• Working hours: 23.25 hours (we will consider up to full time, talk to us about what works best for you!)

You’ll mainly support our stores across the city and county of Swansea, such as Swansea Cadle, Swansea centre, Llansamlet and Ammanford.

Your base store will be Swansea Centre, and most of your travel will be within around 60 minutes of here. We'll always aim to plan your rota to make the most of your time and minimise unnecessary travel wherever possible.
