A leading optical retailer in Greater London is seeking a Domiciliary Optical Assistant to deliver glasses to patients directly in their homes and care homes. The ideal candidate should have customer-facing experience and preferably an optical background. Flexibility in work hours and possessing a valid UK driving license is essential. This role offers a salary range of £26,852 to £28,000, plus a car allowance and bonus based on sales.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
• Experience in an optical environment.
• Basic knowledge of optical dispensing.
• Confidence using new systems, tablets or laptops.
• Valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Carry out clinics and deliver glasses to patients in their homes and in some care home settings.
• Work independently, taking initiative and providing a professional service.
• Engage customers with a kind and friendly demeanour.
