Job summary
SpaMedica is seeking a Multifunctional Registered Nurse to join our Mobile Diagnostic and Treatment Centre in Scotland. You will conduct pre-assessments, assist theatre days, administer medicines per NMC guidelines, and support ophthalmic care within a small MDT.
Stock control and equipment readiness are also part of the role, with ongoing training and development. The post is based in East Kilbride and may cover multiple locations across Scotland depending on uptake, offering a stable,
Qualifications
- Registered nurse with NMC registration.
- Experience in perioperative care or ophthalmic settings is desirable.
- Strong record-keeping and medication handling.
- Ability to work within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-assessments for patients.
- Admission and discharge of patients on a theatre day.
- Administer drugs in accordance with NMC guidelines.
- Adhere to The NMC guidelines for record keeping.
- Provide scrub experience for clinical procedures.
- Lead in the ordering of medication and stock.
- Prepare areas and equipment for clinical activities.
