Job summary

Purosearch Ltd. is seeking a reliable Peripatetic Occupational Health Technician to cover client sites across the North West. The role is mobile, with travel required between sites, and a base salary of £26,000 per annum for a 37.5-hour week, plus an additional 10-hour weekly overtime allowance.

You must have your own car and appropriate business insurance; occasional overnight stays may be necessary. Full training will be provided, and previous occupational health experience is beneficial but

Qualifications

• Interest in healthcare or clinical screening.
• Experience in healthcare, clinical or patient-facing role preferred but not essential.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health surveillance and occupational health screening at client sites in the North West.
• Carry out routine assessments (audiometry, spirometry, vision checks, BP) following training.
• Support full health surveillance service per client requirements and clinical procedures.
• Maintain confidential employee records and handle data appropriately.
• Prepare and maintain clinical equipment per procedures.
• Travel independently between client locations and adapt to different environments.
• Communicate professionally with employees, client reps and colleagues.
• Follow clinical protocols, health and safety, and data protection rules.
