Job summary

Purosearch Ltd. is seeking an Occupational Health Technician – Peripatetic to work across the UK in a Mobile Medical Unit. The role offers 37.5 hours per week, with regular UK travel and overnight stays, and a starting salary of £26,000–£27,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

A comprehensive 4-week training programme is provided, followed by mentoring and support. You will deliver health surveillance services at client sites, perform baseline measurements, and document

Qualifications

• Full UK manual driving licence.
• Licence held for a minimum of 12 months.
• Minimum age of 21.
• Ability to provide a valid driving licence share code.
• Experience or understanding of baseline health measurements.
• Ability to work away from home regularly.
• Ability to park the MMU at or near your home address overnight.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health surveillance screenings, including audiometry and lung function testing.
• Carry out baseline measurements including height, weight, blood pressure and urinalysis.
• Accurately record clinical and occupational health information.
• Collect and document biometric data to support clinical decision-making.
• Ensure all equipment is clean, maintained and fit for purpose.
• Support health promotion activities and wider occupational health services.
• Work closely with nurses, physicians and the wider clinical team.
• Maintain high standards of confidentiality and GDPR compliance.
