Job summary

Purosearch Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Health Technician to join a mobile team serving client sites across the region. The role involves travel in a Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) with a 4-week training programme and ongoing mentoring from an experienced team.

You will conduct health surveillance, carry out baseline measurements and record results accurately while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety. Regular travel and overnight stays are required.

Qualifications

• Valid manual UK driving licence.
• Held a driving licence for at least 12 months.
• Aged 21 or over.
• Comfortable with regular travel and overnight stays.
• Able to park the MMU at or near your home overnight.
• Able to provide a DVLA licence share code.
• Good understanding of GDPR, confidentiality and health surveillance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver health surveillance assessments including audiometry and lung function testing.
• Carry out baseline checks including height, weight, blood pressure and urinalysis.
• Accurately record clinical and screening information.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and equipment check within the MMU.
• Provide accurate biometric information to support clinical decision-making.
• Support health promotion activities and wider occupational health services.
• Work independently while maintaining strong communication with the wider clinical team.
