Job summary

Kier Group is seeking a Multiskilled Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join the Waltham Forest PFI Schools team, with the main office in Chingford. This mobile role covers Lewisham PFI Schools across seven sites, 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday.

You will carry out planned/reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, perform PAT testing and water hygiene tasks, and support facilities with carpentry, decorating, and event setup.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualifications and 18th Edition (2391 preferred).
• Experience delivering electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Good understanding of statutory compliance, PTW and SSOW.

Responsibilities

• Completing planned and reactive maintenance across electrical and mechanical systems.
• Carrying out PAT testing and water hygiene tasks, ensuring compliance standards are met.
• Providing facilities support including minor carpentry, decorating, event setup, and maintaining tools/spare stock.
• Using and troubleshooting BMS systems, supporting asset management programmes.
