Job summary

Mitie Engineering Services in London is seeking a Mobile Multi Skilled Mechanical Engineer to deliver planned and reactive maintenance across a diverse set of building services. You will work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same.

Ideal candidates will have a recognised mechanical apprenticeship and at least three years post‑apprenticeship experience. You will play a key role in maintaining HVAC/AHU/FCU systems and utilities, ensuring safety and high standards within client

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical apprenticeship with City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of three years post-apprenticeship experience in a similar mechanical maintenance role.
• Strong knowledge of building services systems including HVAC, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors, and heating systems.
• Proven experience delivering PPM and reactive maintenance within commercial or critical environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance across a wide range of building services plant and equipment.
• Diagnose faults, identify root causes, and complete corrective works efficiently and safely.
• Monitor, record, and report plant performance, defects, and maintenance activities using the CAFM system.
• Work collaboratively within a shift team to meet client SLAs and KPIs while maintaining high professional standards.
• Ensure all works are completed in compliance with Mitie Engineering Services policies, health & safety requirements, and safe systems of work.
