Job summary

CBRE Local UK is seeking a Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to join our Salisbury-based team. You will identify risks on-site, manage the preventative maintenance program, and fault-find across heavy industrial machinery, cranes, hydraulics and pneumatics, including 440V three‑phase systems.

You will write risk assessments and permits, use CAFM to plan and record works, liaise with Site Services, and deputise the Shift Leader during leave or sickness, sometimes working nights or weekends as

Qualifications

• A recognised or time-served apprenticeship
• Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance
• Electrical qualifications to a minimum or equivalent to City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2
• Mechanical qualifications to an acceptable standard
• Good multi skilled ability
• Experience working on 3 phase motors, drives and inverters
• Hydraulic / Pneumatic Experience
• Ability to fault find
• PLC Diagnostics / Repair Competencies
• NVQ Qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical
• Ability to supervise contractors
• Able to write Risk and Method Statements
• Able to understand and write Permits

Responsibilities

• Identify and manage on-site equipment risks and update drawings
• Maintain production environment using new equipment and PMs
• Fault finding on all types of machinery
• Support Health and Safety in the department
• Provide electrical and mechanical expertise for heavy machines and cranes
• Write risk assessments and permits
• Work on three-phase systems up to 440V
• Plan work using CAFM maintenance system and calendars
• Liaise with Site Services on building services issues
• Overtime nights and weekends as required
• Oversee contractors and deputise Shift Leader when needed
