Job summary

Randstad CPE are recruiting a Mobile Maintenance Technician to cover the North Tyneside region on a temporary ongoing basis. The role is 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with an hourly pay rate of £17–£22 (Umbrella or PAYE) and an own vehicle is required.

You will carry out emergency repairs and planned maintenance in occupied and void homes, handling plumbing, painting, tiling, carpentry, and general multi-trade tasks, while upholding health and safety standards and delivering a polite,

Qualifications

• City and Guilds/NVQ Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative or equivalent.
• Blue CSCS card preferred.
• Own vehicle and UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out emergency responsive repairs and scheduled planned maintenance in occupied and void homes.
• Fix plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, taps replacements, and basic sanitary ware.
• Complete painting, decorating, and surface preparation on internal and external walls.
• Fit, grout, sealant, and replace wall and floor tiles.
• Perform general multi-trade tasks like minor carpentry, plaster repairs, and lock replacements.
• Provide polite, clean, and respectful service when working in resident's homes.
• Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and housing regulations.

Randstad C&P are working with a national FM client to onboard a temporary Mobile Maintenance Technician in the North Tyneside region. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity.

The Package:

• Pay rate between £17ph - £22ph (Umbrella or PAYE)
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• Temporary ongoing contract (min 1 month)
• Own vehicle needed

The Duties:
