Job summary

Randstad C&P are working with a national FM client to onboard a temporary Mobile Maintenance Technician in the North Tyneside region. This is a temporary ongoing opportunity.

You will carry out emergency responsive repairs and scheduled planned maintenance in occupied and void homes, including plumbing, painting, tiling, and other multi-trade tasks, while adhering to health and safety guidelines. Own vehicle and UK driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• City and Guilds/NVQ Level 2 Building Maintenance Operative or equivalent.
• Blue CSCS card (desirable).
• Excellent health and safety knowledge.
• Customer focused with experience in occupied/void properties.
• Own vehicle and UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out emergency responsive repairs and scheduled planned maintenance in occupied and void homes.
• Fix plumbing issues, including leaks, blockages, tap replacements, and basic sanitary ware.
• Complete painting, decorating, and surface preparation on internal and external walls.
• Fit, grout, sealant, and replace wall and floor tiles.
• Perform general multi-trade tasks like minor carpentry, plaster repairs, and lock replacements.
• Provide polite, clean, and respectful service when working in residents' homes.
• Follow all Health & Safety guidelines and housing regulations.
