We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to join our team in London. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients' facilities and equipment.
We're looking for a talented and versatile Mobile Multi Skilled Engineer to perform electrical and mechanical maintenance on a wide range of plant, equipment, and building services. If you have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance, electrical and mechanical competences, and a passion for problem-solving, we want to hear from you!
Identify and manage risks associated with equipment on site, including updating drawings, identifying critical spares, and improving equipment performance
Conduct fault-finding on all types of machinery, including electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
Provide electrical and mechanical expertise to the maintenance department, working on heavy industrial machines and overhead cranes
Write and follow risk assessments and method statements, ensuring a safe and accurate working environment
Use mobile devices to accurately project and complete works from the CAFM maintenance system
Liaise with onsite site services to manage building services-related issues
Deputise for the shift leader during annual leave or sickness
Work overtime as required, including nights and weekends
Recognised or time-served apprenticeship in electrical or mechanical engineering
Strong proven experience in manufacturing maintenance experience
Electrical competences to a minimum of City and Guilds 236 Pt 1-2 Electrical qualifications to 18th Edition
Mechanical competences to an acceptable standard to City and Guild's Mechanical
Good multi-skilled ability, with experience working on 3-phase motors, drives, and inverters
Hydraulic and pneumatic experience
Ability to fault-find and diagnose PLC systems
NVQ qualifications to Level 2, Electrical and Mechanical
Ability to supervise contractors and write risk and method statements
Working at height qualification
IPAF certification
AP qualifications
Experience of heavy engineering
