Job summary

FM Conway Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Aggregate and Asphalt division. The role covers our Asphalt Plants across Erith, Heathrow, Reading, Theale, Aldershot, Croydon and Newhaven with regular site travel and remote working where appropriate.

You will perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance and fault finding to keep plants safe and efficient. Applicants should hold a Level 3 electrical qualification (City & Guilds 2330 or equivalent) and the 18th

Qualifications

Level 3 electrical qualification (City & Guilds 2330 or equivalent) and 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
Experience with PLCs, control systems and electrical drawings.
Full UK driving licence essential due to travel between sites.

Responsibilities

Carry out planned preventative maintenance, inspections and reactive repairs on electrical and mechanical plant equipment.
Diagnose faults and carry out electrical installations and improvements to minimise downtime.
Ensure all work complies with electrical regulations and permit-to-work systems.
Maintain electrical compliance records and maintenance schedules.
Support engineering projects including equipment installations and commissioning.
Travel between multiple sites for maintenance activities and provide on-call support.
