Job summary

Cambridge Maintenance Services Limited in Slough seeks a Mobile Mechanical Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to maintain mechanical, electrical and fabric systems at a high-end retail environment. You will perform scheduled PPMs and reactive work, with basic electrical understanding and fault diagnosis where needed.

You will be equipped with a company phone, tablet, uniform, PPE and all necessary tools to deliver efficient, compliant maintenance and customer‑focussed service.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical engineering qualification level 3 and proven FM/BSM experience.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs safely and independently.
• Experience with planned preventative maintenance in commercial environments.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across mechanical and building services systems.
• Diagnose faults and undertake repairs to mechanical plant and equipment, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Maintain and repair building services equipment including mechanical pipework, pumps and HVAC plant.
• Complete servicing, repairs, replacements, and installations of plant and fittings where required.
• Carry out housekeeping and ensure high standards of health & safety across site operations.
