Job summary

Cambridge Maintenance Services in the North of England is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Engineer (Mechanical Bias) to maintain mechanical, electrical and fabric systems across sites in the Manchester area. You will perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to keep environments compliant, safe and fully operational.

The role requires a recognised Level 3 mechanical qualification and hands-on experience with pumps, motors, HVAC plant, and building services.

Qualifications

• Recognised mechanical engineering qualification level 3 or equivalent.
• Proven experience in Building Services / FM.
• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance in commercial environments.
• Ability to diagnose faults and repair safely.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across mechanical/building services.
• Diagnose faults and repair mechanical plant and equipment.
• Maintain pumps, motors, bearings, valves, HVAC equipment.
• Provide detailed updates via CAFM system.
• Ensure health and safety compliance.
