Job summary

JAM Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to cover LDN/HC, with a salary between £40,000 and £46,000 dependent on experience, plus a fully expensed van, fuel card, phone and iPad. The role involves maintenance, reactive breakdowns, fault finding and remedial works across a commercial portfolio in London and the Home Counties.

The ideal candidate will have solid commercial mechanical engineering experience, strong diagnostic skills and a proactive attitude toward maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience in commercial mechanical engineering/building services.
• Solid diagnostic skills and ability to fault-find on varied mechanical systems.
• Proactive and practical approach to maintenance and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, fault find and repair a range of commercial mechanical and building services systems.
• Perform planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance.
• Complete job sheets and service reports and liaise with clients and subcontractors.
