Job summary

Mitie is seeking a Mobile Mechanical Engineer at Heathrow Airport to deliver excellent service while meeting SLA targets and maintenance schedules. You will maintain and repair key building systems, handle documentation, and support planning for critical assets.

The role requires experience in facilities management, strong Health & Safety awareness, a valid UK driving licence, and good IT literacy. You will work with a team and may participate in On-Call rotations, with benefits including

• Support supervisor with maintenance planning on critical assets.
• Perform manual tasks including working at heights and in confined spaces.
• Participate in On-Call Rota and adhere to Health & Safety and Permit to Work procedures.

We're looking for a Mobile Mechanical Engineer at Heathrow Airport who will deliver excellent service standards, while meeting SLA agreements and adhering to maintenance schedules.

Role Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair plumbing, ventilation (AHUs, extract/intake), heating and cooling systems (thermal wheels, FCUs), and water assets (booster sets, calorifiers, water heaters).
• Deliver high-quality service, respond to client queries, and report defects.
• Complete documentation accurately and on time, including inspection reports and remedial logs.
• Support supervisor with maintenance planning on critical assets.
• Perform manual tasks including working at heights and in confined spaces.
