Job summary

JLL is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician to join our facilities team in South Yorkshire. You will carry out pre-planned and reactive maintenance across building fabric and services, using CAFM systems to log work and coordinate with specialists.

The role requires hands-on skills in plumbing, drainage, water hygiene, painting and carpentry, plus strong health and safety awareness. Weekend work and on-call duties are included.

Qualifications

• Must have proven experience in building maintenance or facilities management.
• Fabric Engineer apprenticeship or Carpentry & Joinery qualifications or equivalent.
• Proficiency with PDA and CAFM systems; able to log and track work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Carry out pre-planned and reactive maintenance using CAFM system.
• Conduct regular inspections and repairs on building fabric and facilities.
• Perform basic plumbing, drainage, water hygiene, painting, and carpentry tasks.
• Engage with specialist subcontractors and maintain accurate site records.

Mobile Maintenance Technician

Job Type-

Fulltime

Shift timing-

8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (On call rota basis & Flexible to work on weekends)

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out pre-planned and reactive maintenance using JLL's CAFM system
• Conduct regular inspections and repairs on building fabric/facilities
• Perform basic plumbing, drainage, water hygiene, painting, and carpentry tasks
• Engage with specialist subcontractors and maintain accurate site records
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation
• Report issues accurately and *escalate* when required

Essential Requirements:

• Experience in building maintenance or facilities management
• Fabric Engineer apprenticeship/Carpentry & Joinery qualifications or similar
