Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Technician in Swindon, offering a permanent role with a salary of £41,506.36 (including on call standby 1:4). The position involves maintaining electrical, mechanical and building assets in retail stores, with duties covering PPMs, reactive repairs, and cost-efficient service delivery.

You will lead the Maintenance Assistant, coach colleagues, and ensure work is completed within specified timescales while strictly following health and safety

Qualifications

C&G 2382 (18th edition) required.
Level 3 core electrical qualification with relevant experience (e.g. C&G2330, C&G2365).

Responsibilities

To complete all necessary PPMs and ensure remedial tasks are logged and actioned, meeting legal compliance.
To supervise the Maintenance Assistant and coach them to perform in line with company processes.
To prioritise maintenance and repairs to achieve agreed timescales and contract SLAs.

Mobile Maintenance Technician

My client is on the lookout for an experienced Mobile Maintenance Technician to join the team. You will have the opportunity to work on one of their leading supermarket contracts.

The role will involve carry out planned and reactive maintenance and repairs to a range of electrical, mechanical and building assets in retail stores in an efficient and cost-effective manner, whilst complying with the specified Company Health and Safety procedures.

This is likely to include bakery and catering equipment, mechanical and electrical systems and assets, lighting systems, building fabric, water services and other static and portable electrical equipment. General maintenance and first look is required for all HVAC/Fire and Security and electrical and general issues.

Key Responsibilities – Mobile Maintenance Technician

To complete all necessary PPM’s and ensure all PPM remedial tasks are accurately logged and actioned, ensuring legal compliance
To supervise the Maintenance Assistant (MA), provide regular coaching and support them to perform their role in line with company processes.
To prioritise maintenance and repair work to achieve agreed timescales and contract SLA’s
