Job summary

HL Services Ltd is seeking an experienced gardener to join our team in the United Kingdom. The role covers general and specialist horticultural maintenance across multiple sites, including lawn care, borders, water features, irrigation, and seasonal clearance.

The ideal candidate will have professional gardening experience, a UK driving licence, and a strong eye for detail. You will work both independently and with the team, adhering to high standards and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Previous professional gardening or horticultural experience
• Experience working on private domestic and/or commercial sites
• A recognised horticultural qualification is desirable
• PA1 & PA6 qualifications are preferable but not essential
• A full, clean UK driving licence - essential for mobile rounds
• Strong eye for detail and pride in your work
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills
• Willingness to develop skills and undertake training
• Professionalism, integrity and discretion

Responsibilities

Your duties will include:

• Carrying out all aspects of general and specialist horticultural maintenance
• Lawn care and maintenance
• Seasonal ground clearance and garden preparation
• Maintaining beds, borders and containers
• Specialist pruning and trimming
• Sweeping and maintaining hard surfaces and garden furniture
• Cleaning and maintaining water features
• Day-to-day maintenance of irrigation systems
• Chemical applications and accurate record keeping, where appropriately trained
• Safe operation of horticultural machinery
• Maintaining gardens to a consistently high standard
• Working independently while also supporting the wider team
  This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled gardener who takes pride in delivering high-quality horticultural work and enjoys working across different sites., The ideal candidate will have:
