Job summary

HAMILTON ROWE RECRUITMENT SERVICES LTD is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer in Berkshire to perform PPM and reactive maintenance on electrical, mechanical and HVAC systems across commercial sites. You will diagnose faults, service AHUs/FCUs/VRV/VRF systems, and ensure compliance with safety and building standards.

The role follows a fixed Monday–Friday schedule (8am–5pm) with a company vehicle, pension, and potential bonus.

Qualifications

Qualified in either AC, mechanical or electrical engineering / installations (City and Guilds / EAL / NVQ or equivalent).
Full UK Licence.
Able to work well individually and as part of a team.
At least 3 years experience within commercial building maintenance.

Responsibilities

Carry out PPM and reactive maintenance across commercial sites.
Diagnose, fault-find and rectify mechanical, electrical or HVAC-related issues.
Service and maintain HVAC systems, including AHUs, FCUs, VRV/VRF systems, pumps, motors and associated equipment.
Undertake general mechanical or electrical maintenance in line with your core trade.
Carry out general plumbing and building services maintenance where required.
Complete emergency lighting and fire alarm testing.
Carry out basic water hygiene and L8 compliance tasks.
Undertake general building fabric repairs and maintenance.
Complete job sheets, service reports and maintenance documentation accurately.
Maintain excellent customer service and professional relationships with clients.
