Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Pneumatic) in Huddersfield. You will install, service and maintain bespoke carpet cutting machinery, with full training on in-house equipment and ample UK travel in a provided company vehicle.

The role offers door-to-door pay, a company bonus and opportunities to increase earnings with travel and overtime, while supporting the manufacturing and servicing of bespoke machinery. Stay-away nights are expected.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Engineer with electrical and pneumatic machinery.
• Willing to travel across the UK with a provided company vehicle.

Are you a Maintenance Engineer with knowledge of electrical and pneumatic machinery, looking for a role offering the opportunity to travel and explore the UK in a provided vehicle carrying out varied, interesting work where no two days are the same?

In this role you will receive full tailored training as you develop your skills to eventually be responsible for the manufacturing, installation, and servicing of bespoke carpet cutting machinery. You will visit sites to perform planned engineering services on electrical/pneumatic machinery, with frequent stay away opportunities, on average 3 nights a week; additional duties include the assisting of manufacturing on-site.

This role would suit a Mobile Maintenance Engineer with knowledge of electrical and pneumatic machinery, looking to explore the UK whilst installing, servicing, and maintaining bespoke machinery in a varied role for a tight-knit collaborative company.

The Role:

• Install, service, and maintain carpet cutting machinery
• Full training on in-house machinery
• Ample travel opportunities, door-to-door pay, in a provided vehicle, with 2-3 days stay away per week
• 5 hours a week, 8 - 4:30, Monday to Thursday, 3:00 finish on FridayThe Person:
