Job summary

Staffline is seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician for Canvey Island/Benfleet. The role involves maintaining electrical and mechanical plant across retail outlets, performing regular planned store visits, reactive and planned maintenance, and minor non-electrical repairs.

Key duties include completing PPM schedules, conducting emergency lighting/fire alarm tests, and advising on fault replacements. NVQ3/City & Guilds 236 Part 1+2, 18th Edition, and AM2/2391 are required.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.
• City and Guilds 18th Edition.
• AM2 / 2391.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenance.
• Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.
• Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sites.
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.

Education

NVQ Level 3/City and guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.

City and Guilds 18th Edition.
