Job summary

Omega Resource Group is seeking an experienced Mobile Maintenance Electrician to join our client on a permanent basis in Canvey Island/Benfleet. You will maintain and repair electrical, mechanical plant and equipment across retail outlets, including on-call duties.

The role involves PPMs, reactive maintenance, emergency lighting and fire alarm tests, fault diagnosis, and liaison with the Line Manager. Qualifications include NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds 236 Part 1+2, 18th Edition and AM2/2391.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3/City and Guilds 236 Part 1 + 2 or equivalent in electrical installation/Maintenance.
• City and Guilds 18th Edition.
• AM2 / 2391.

Responsibilities

• Complete the Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within agreed timescales and to ensure all necessary paperwork is completed accurately.
• Deliver reactive and planned catering and bakery equipment maintenance.
• Conduct emergency lighting and fire alarm tests and repairs.
• Complete general repairs and maintenance to customer sites.
• Identify non-repairable faults in plant and machinery and promptly advise the Line Manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacement.
