Job summary

Energy Jobline CVL is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Electrician to cover North West London (Wembley) on a permanent basis. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance across multiple sites, with responsibility for on-site repairs and compliance paperwork.

The ideal candidate will hold NVQ Level 3/City & Guilds 236, City & Guilds 18th Edition and AM2/2391, and will be comfortable using a PDA system. 40 hours per week; on-site with a 1 in 4 standby rota.

Qualifications

• Essential electrical installation/maintenance qualifications (NVQ/City & Guilds 236).
• City & Guilds 18th Edition qualification.
• AM2 / 2391 electrical testing qualification.

Responsibilities

• Prioritise maintenance and repair work to meet timescales and complete PPMs and reactive maintenance schedules.
• Complete the PPM schedule within timescales and ensure paperwork is accurate.
• Respond to Helpdesk service calls and perform repairs as required.
• Advise Line Manager of non-repairable faults with replacement recommendations.
• Inform on-site management of issues likely affecting site operations.
• Carry out surveys and produce reports for City management.
• Maintain quality standards with company and customer staff.
• Carry out minor alterations and installations within competence.
• Perform repairs on catering/bakery assets; comply with BER policy.
• Represent the company professionally on site and liaise with customers.
• Monitor Mercury system with live updates.
