Job summary

VIVO Defence Services is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer to ensure timely delivery of contractual obligations across RAF Wyton, RAF Wittering, Carver Barracks and Bassingbourne Barracks.

You will assess personnel competence, prepare risk assessments, and provide technical support on site teams, supply chain partners and end users, while upholding JSP375 compliance and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Level 3 Mechanical Engineer with relevant experience.
• Experience with Safe Systems of Work and JSP375 is highly desirable.
• Ability to supervise, coach Skilled Persons and work across multiple sites.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Assess competence of skilled personnel and ensure safety standards.
• Produce high-quality Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
• Provide technical support to site teams, supply chain partners, and end users.
• Support project work, reduce corrective actions, and help MoD carbon targets.
• Advise on Safe Systems of Work and liaise with stakeholders to maintain compliance.
