Job summary

HVAC Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join a well-established HVAC company covering London and the surrounding areas. The role is predominantly installation-focused, handling high-end residential properties, commercial offices, and some retail sites.

You will install VRV/VRF, fixed and multi-split systems, CHW/AHU components, and carry out commissioning and fault finding with confidence while communicating directly with clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with VRV/VRF and split systems.
• F-Gas Category 1 qualification essential.
• Diagnostics and fault-finding ability.
• Full UK driving licence.
• City & Guilds Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install VRV/VRF, split and multi-split air conditioning systems.
• Install and replace AHUs, FCUs, compressors and related HVAC equipment.
• Perform refrigeration pipework, brazing, pressure testing and condensate drainage.
• Set up, test and commission systems from technical drawings.
• Approximately 25% service work, PPMs and fault finding.
• Work across high-end residential, commercial and retail environments.

Air Conditioning Installation Engineer

Salary: Up to £55,000 DOE + Overtime

Location: London & Surrounding Areas - Mainly within the M25

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm (Some Flexibility)

Job Type: Permanent - Mobile

Role: 75% Installation / 25% Maintenance

We are recruiting for an experienced Air Conditioning Installation Engineer to join an established HVAC company covering London and the surrounding areas.

This is a predominantly installation-based position, working across high-end residential properties, commercial offices and occasional retail sites.

We are looking for a technically strong engineer with extensive AC installation experience, who is confident working independently, fault finding and dealing directly with clients.

The Role

• Installation of VRV/VRF, split and multi-split air conditioning systems.
• Installation and replacement of AHUs, FCUs, compressors and associated HVAC equipment.
• Refrigeration pipework, brazing, pressure testing, condensate drainage and installation of supports.
• Working from technical drawings, carrying out system set-up, testing and commissioning.
• Approximately 25% servicing, PPMs, reactive maintenance and fault finding.
• Working across high-end residential, commercial office and retail environments.

No chiller experience is required.

Requirements

• Strong commercial and residential air conditioning installation experience.
• F-Gas Category 1 qualification essential.
• Experience with VRV/VRF, split systems, pipework, brazing and commissioning.
• Good technical knowledge of AHUs, FCUs and general HVAC systems.
• City & Guilds Level 2 or 3 in Air Conditioning desirable but not essential.
• Confident working independently, carrying out fault finding and communicating with clients.
• Full UK driving licence.

Salary & Benefits

• Up to £55,000 basic salary DOE.
• Plenty of overtime available, with weekends paid at time and a half.
• Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm, with some flexibility.
