Leicestershire Library Service are seeking applications for a Mobile Library Driver/ Assistant. This is a permanent full-time position of 37 hours per week based at Coalville Library.
The successful applicant will deliver valuable library services to communities across Leicestershire. This role involves both driving a mobile library vehicle and delivering excellent customer service at the different mobile stops.
The position involves driving predetermined routes in mostly rural villages across Leicestershire, including visits to schools, nurseries and pre-schools and regular village/town locations keeping to a set timetable.
You will be delivering a library service from the vehicle and responding to customer queries.
The post holder will also require a current valid driving license to drive a vehicle up to 7.5 tonnes. A driver Certificate of Professional Competenceis desirable but not essential as training can be given.
